Aircraft & Environment

Technical information

N
On average, a narrow-body commercial aircraft is an assembly of 180 000 different parts, built to sustain extreme operating conditions: high speed, high differential pressure, huge structural load, high and low temperatures, etc.
N

While aircrafts are in operation their environmental impact is kept at a minimum due to the fact that every aircraft must be maintained under the strict control and regulations of national CAA, OEM, AMM recommendations and maintenance performed in a qualified environment.

N

Development and testing of new aircraft types take several years followed by months of intensive work for assembly of every single aircraft.

N

As every aircraft has an economical life limit, it is important not to neglect it before it reaches its life’s end and the time thereafter. Neglected and unattended aircrafts will become a serious risk and pose a danger to people and the environment.

N

Even though numerous built-in components like pressurized gases, inflammable substances, fuel, various types of oils, hydraulic fluid, batteries and even radioactive material are considered as being hazardous, aircrafts are considered low-risk to people and the environment.
